Do you enjoy word puzzles?...

Much of the focus in recent times has been around number and logic puzzles more than straightforward word puzzles... you don't tend to see that many crossword puzzles or other traditional word puzzles in modern brain training books for instance.

Yet the crossword can offer a great mental workout, and test your vocabulary, lateral thinking skills and general puzzle solving abilities: a good test, then, for mental dexterity.

What is your favourite word puzzle?

Personally I've never been that into word puzzles, preferring logic and number puzzles - but that's probably because I'm not that great with words and certainly I would have no idea where to start when confronted with a cryptic crossword: those look like random strings of words to me so no idea how anyone does them!
