Logical Thinking Corporate Training

Logical thinking is not just the preserve of people in the world of academia. Far from it, a truly effective businessperson is someone who can adopt a logical approach. More often than not, logical thinking can help the derivation of the best way to tackle a problem.

woman An appreciation of the basic rules of logic is surprisingly powerful in letting you spot false arguments, conclusions that do not actually follow from their premises and more. By using critical thinking for instance we can cut through the rhetoric and see if the arguments of sales persons (or indeed politicians) to persuade us that such and such is true are actually valid.

Very few people consider the underlying logical form of an argument, but in this workshop we look at the basic underlying structure and also some well-known argument types that are not good arguments, but have been used over the years all the same and often with great effectiveness for their proponents.

We look at the sorts of questions you should ask yourself and methods for thinking clearly and logically. Overall the session will set your employees thinking about just how effective and powerful a logical method can be when applied to an argument and encourages them to think for themselves and challenge assumptions they make in the workplace.
If you are interested in arranging a logical thinking corporate brain training workshop, then please in the first instance contact us with a brief outline of your requirements.
